Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. Introduction
SSSAI LLC ("SSSAI", "we", "us", or "our") provides AI-powered SaaS tools, applications, and API services through sssai.org and related products (collectively, the "Services"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account and contact information — your name, email address, password, and the details you provide when you register, subscribe, or contact us.
- Billing information — when you purchase a paid plan, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive limited transaction details (such as plan, amount, and status) but do not store full payment card numbers.
- Content you submit — the prompts, text, files, documents, and other inputs you send to our tools and APIs, together with the outputs generated for you ("Customer Content").
- Usage and device information — collected automatically when you use the Services, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps.
- Communications — the contents of messages you send us and our correspondence with you.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- process transactions and manage your subscription;
- respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- analyze usage to improve performance and develop new features;
- send service, security, and administrative messages, and, where permitted, product updates; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Customer Content and AI processing
When you use our AI tools and APIs, your inputs and the resulting outputs are processed to deliver the functionality you request. We do not use your Customer Content to train foundation models without your consent. Some features rely on third-party AI model providers that act as our subprocessors; in those cases your inputs are transmitted to those providers solely to generate a response and are subject to their security and confidentiality obligations. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit your Customer Content and for not submitting sensitive personal information you do not want processed.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services; your consent, where required; and compliance with legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers and subprocessors — such as hosting, payment processing, communications, and AI model providers who process data on our behalf under contract;
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SSSAI, our users, or others; and
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Services to function, to remember your preferences, and to understand and improve how the Services are used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for cross-border transfers of personal data.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- request a copy of your information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@sssai.org. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" — note that we do not sell your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
13. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
